Noureen DeWulf was born on the 28th of February, 1984, in New York City. Her entire life she has shown a great interest in becoming an actress. She began laying the groundwork of her career when she was a student at Boston University's School of the Arts. Her career started after she graduated. She started auditioning for different roles. In 2005 she got an important part in a film called West Bank Story. West Bank Story had its world premiere in the Sundance Film Festival of 2005 as well as being played at other festivals. In 2007, it received an Oscar in the category of Best Live Action Short Film. This set the stage for Noureen to be successful in the future. Her career began as a child actor, appearing in such films like Alaska (1996), Now and Then (1995), Hocus Pocus(1993) and All I Want for christmas (1991). Her role as a character in American Beauty brought her worldwide fame and recognition in 1999. After that, she was able to appear in Ghost World (2002), that received lots of praise, and earned her a Golden Globe nomination.
