Allie Clifton
Allie Clifton, a sports broadcaster with Spectrum Sports Net, is currently in her fifth year as a player for the Los Angeles Lakers. Allie Clifton is an Emmy-winning sportscaster who has more than 10 years of experiences in sideline and sports journalistic work. She also has participated in competitive basketball for more than 10 seasons. Prior to becoming a part of Spectrum Sports Net, Allie has been a reporter on the sidelines for FOX Sports Ohio's Cleveland Cavaliers telecasts, sideline reporter for the Toledo Mud Hens (Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers), sports feature reporter for 13 ABC Action News (WTVG) as well as color analyst and sideline reporter for high school as well as collegiate basketball, volleyball as well as track and field on track & field and volleyball on Buckeye Cable Sports Network (BCSN). Clifton is a native of Ohio has earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees at The University of Toledo in Sport Analysis and Communication, as well as the Liberal Studies. In the wake of a stellar high school basketball program at Van Wert High School, where she was captain of the one and only league title team for her school, Allie was a basketball star during her time at UT. She was a three-time captain and was a letter-winner over four years, helping the team to win the Mid-American Conference West Division in 2010. Clifton is not a stranger to The Q and has attended The Q's MAC Tournament during her four seasons at Toledo.
