The acting career of Tulloch began when her being credited under the nickname Bitsie. This continued until 2017 which is when Tulloch chose to go by Elizabeth. As I have always done, I am still Bitsie when I speak to anyone. It was a good name for me as I started acting in my 20s. In my 30s, and I feel like for billing purposes I was tempted to return to Elizabeth. It was actually not something I had thought of. The director said "Hey we were able to see Elizabeth as we completed the legal papers." Are you happy with this method of billing? It was a thought that I had about it and I called my agent and my manager. They said That's definitely not a bad suggestion. Yes, you've become older. Also, Bitsie is obviously a very sort of adorable name. It is cutesy. That's all there was to it. There is no way to introduce myself as Elizabeth now. This is just to keep track of the charges. Tulloch originates from Scottish as well as Spanish heritage. Tulloch has stated her first mother tongue was Spanish although she no longer thinks she's fluent. Her grandfather's family came from Kirkwall and her maternal grandparents were from Renfrewshire. In an interview that she gave to BBC News, we believe the first Tullochs came to America in the year 1880. The Kerrs were next in the first half of 1900. The school she attended was middle and high school in Bedford New York, after her return back to the U.S. Tulloch graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University with a double major in English and American Literature and Visual and Environmental Studies.
